Today (29th) around 2 am, a trailer collided with a 5-ton truck near the Songnisan rest area in the direction of Cheongju on the Yeongdeok Expressway, Cheongju.
The truck collided with the car that had been stopped in the previous accident, and the trailer that followed could not avoid it.
A 49-year-old man driving a trailer died in the accident, and one truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
