The couple, who went for a walk with their dog as usual, were attacked by a hound from behind.
The dog ran, biting the dog's neck, and the startled dog owner beat the hound enough to break the stick, but it did not fall.
Two other hounds started circling around them, and the owner was able to call the police and fire department only after he ran to a high place to avoid the hounds.
When the 119 dispatched crew found the dog at the foot of a nearby mountain, he was already dead.
The couple, who had been with their dog for 12 years, were deeply traumatized.

Hounds belong to dog breeds that require a leash and a muzzle under the Animal Protection Act.
However, the wild boar hunters say that in order to find the wild boar, they had to release the hunting dog, and it was a normal process to get permission from the ward office.
As such, it is common to encounter hounds on the hiking trails during the wild boar hunting period, but from the point of view of the citizens, they are the same as hounds or wild boars.
In fact, in July, a mother and daughter were seriously injured when they were attacked by a hunting dog in Mungyeong.
It is pointed out that more thorough measures are needed to prepare for a hunting dog safety accident.
