Prosecutors investigating the Daejang-dong development lobby and preferential treatment case today (24th) summoned Lee Jae-myung, the chief of staff of the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, during the days of Seongnam Mayor.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office's dedicated investigation team (team leader Kim Tae-hoon, 4th deputy chief prosecutor) called Im Seung-min, former chief of the secretary of Seongnam Mayor, as a reference this afternoon, and is checking the overall decision-making process of the Daejang-dong project.

Lim is one of the people who has been close to Lee, who has served as Seongnam Mayor for nearly two years since July 2014.

As the prosecution summoned former chief executive Lim, there are speculations that the 'upper line' investigation into the alleged breach of trust in the Daejang-dong development project will resume.
