In order to block illegal distribution of urea water, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department formed a joint enforcement team and conducted an emergency crackdown on a total of 454 intermediate distributors of urea water and gas stations from November 8 to 19.

As a result of the crackdown, a total of 4 locations were discovered: 2 gas stations that stored more urea than usual, and 2 distributors distributed products that did not perform pre-inspection.

In order to ensure fair sales in a situation where the supply and demand of urea is rapidly changing, as a notice on the number of urea and its raw material, the prohibition of buying and selling urea, etc. is enforced, sellers take advantage of unfair profit by keeping the number of urea more than 10% of the average monthly sales of last year. You cannot do burial.

The city discovered two gas stations that stored urea water in excess of 15% to 450%, and reported the companies to the local police station for violating the Act on Price Stabilization.

Gas station A in Gangnam-gu stored 1,500 liters, which is 15% more than the average monthly sales volume for 20 years, and gas station B was caught storing 1,300 liters, which exceeded 450%.

In addition, we plan to investigate two distributors and distributors who illegally distributed urea water for which prior inspection was not carried out or whose permission was revoked.
