Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov visited the Vostochny cosmodrome under construction.
“The Prosecutor General demanded strict observance of the law during construction,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is also noted that all the problems associated with the construction of the cosmodrome require the adoption of comprehensive measures to eliminate them, as well as increase the responsibility of the performers.
“Maintaining a leading position in the space sector is the most important task of the state,” Krasnov concluded.
The decree on the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2007.
In September, the head of state, within the framework of his visit to the Amur Region, inspected the construction site of the launch complex for the Angara launch vehicles and got acquainted with the construction progress of the second stage of the Vostochny cosmodrome.
