In connection with the alleged development of the Democratic Party's presidential promises by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the prosecution has launched a search and seizure of the Democratic Party's policy lab.



The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is conducting a search and seizure by sending eight investigative personnel, including prosecutors, to the National Assembly Hall in Yeouido, Seoul in the morning.



Prosecutors are said to be securing the work data of an expert member of the Democratic Party's leisure party in relation to the violation of the Public Official Election Act in the National Assembly.



On the 12th, the National Election Commission, which conducted its own investigation in this regard, filed a complaint with the Supreme Prosecutor's Office against two public officials from the Ministry of Leisure.



One of them is accused of receiving a request for data to be used in the Democratic Party's presidential campaign promises, requesting each office and bureau within his/her agency to draft a policy pledge, and having the data compiled after a meeting and so on be delivered to the Party Policy Research Fellow. .



Another high-ranking public official was charged with overseeing related affairs, such as presiding over an information gathering meeting.
