These are industrial technical personnel who take the place of military service in small and medium-sized enterprises.

The victimized industrial technical workers claimed that they were frequently verbally abused and assaulted.

Last year, industrial technical personnel who could not stand it reported that they had been harassed by the head of their department.

As a result of this, the perpetrator even wrote an excuse, but this was not reported to the company, and the assault started again.

Violations of the Labor Standards Act, exceeding 52 hours a week, were also routine for industrial technical personnel.

In some cases, the night shift started at 8:30 p.m. and ended at 8:30 a.m. for two weeks in a row and then took two days off.

Industrial technical personnel testified that they worked an average of 60 hours or more, and a maximum of 70 hours each week.

The company said it would refer those involved in the assault to the disciplinary committee.

In addition, it was explained that there was a lack of manpower that forced them to break working hours, but the competent Military Manpower Administration and Labor Administration are reviewing on-site investigations into the company.

More details will be provided on SBS 8 News a little later.
