StripChat, the largest adult video chat platform, has reportedly leaked the personal data of 65 million users.
A cluster of servers on the platform, which claims 500 million visitors per month, was freely accessible, explains

.
The breach was discovered on November 5 by Bob Diachenko, security researcher at Comparitech.
Among the data concerned, we find that of 65 million users registered on the platform.
It was possible to access the username, e-mail address, IP address, ISP, payments ("tips"), as well as the date of last activity and the date of creation of accounts.
719,000 messages exchanged
421,000 performers are also concerned.
This time, the username, gender, studio ID, status, tip options and overall score were available.
Other data was also available such as 134 million transactions carried out in the form of tips and tokens, as well as 719,000 messages exchanged on the platform for adults.
It was two days after being warned by the security researcher that StripChat closed access to its data.
No password, according to StripChat
It is difficult to know precisely if third parties were able to view and download the data.
The presence of IP addresses in his data could be damaging to StripChat users because they "could allow someone to find and track, harass or even assault someone," according to Bob Diachenko.
For its part, the platform stressed that the data concerned did not reveal any password, no financial data or even an account verification document.
