A review has appeared that a foreign substance presumed to be 'chewing gum' appeared in the food of a restaurant in Ulsan.

Yesterday (16th), an online community posted a post saying, "I was eating marathon and chewing gum came out. Where do you see this cheesecake?"

According to the post, author A felt something chewy while eating the marathon packaged at a franchise marathon store and spit it out immediately.

What came out of Mr. A's mouth was a foreign substance like gum.

The photo released by Mr. A contains a white foreign substance the size of a drink cap.

Mr. A informed the restaurant owner that there was a foreign substance in the marathon, but the restaurant owner who saw the photo asked, "Isn't it a cheesecake?"

At this, Mr. A countered, "I thought it was cheesecake at first, but it is gum.

Then the owner of the restaurant insisted again, "I wonder if the cheesecake stored in the frozen state (when cooking) is not ripe." "It doesn't seem like gum."

Mr. A continued to ask the restaurant owner and eventually got a refund.

He added, "I was very embarrassed because the restaurant employees didn't even wear a mask and wiped the soup from the container with a pink cloth when packing the marathon," he added.

Netizens who saw Mr. A's post were outraged with comments such as "The owner of the restaurant who explained that it was cheesecake", "I don't think he has a concept of hygiene", and "You should report such a place."

On the other hand, if you find foreign substances in purchased food, you can report it to the Integrated Reporting Center for Illegal and Defective Food (1399 without an area code) or the food safety information application 'My Hand'.

This is a 'news pick'.
