The Seoul Metropolitan Government released a list of 13,854 people who are habitually delinquent in large amounts of local taxes through the city's website today (17th).
There were 865 delinquents on the list for the first time, 635 individuals and 230 corporations.
The total arrears amounted to KRW 65.5 billion, and we did not pay an average of KRW 76 million per person.
The highest individual delinquent was a Chinese national, WEN YUEHUA, who did not pay 1.273 billion won in local income tax.
This delinquent person has been suing with the city for not paying the overdue tax, but recently lost the final defeat at the Supreme Court, and was newly added to this year's list.
