As the domestic Corona 19 epidemic situation worsens day after day after the implementation of the gradual recovery of daily life, the government decided to conduct a risk assessment every week to decide whether to implement or stop the normal recovery.

The Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters (Bangdaebon) announced today (17th), "We plan to regularly evaluate the risk of COVID-19 to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and review countermeasures."

The risk assessment criteria are divided into 17 detailed indicators in 3 areas: medical and quarantine response indicators, COVID-19 outbreak indicators, and vaccination indicators.

Indices for medical and quarantine response include the utilization rate of beds in the intensive care unit, the number of critically ill patients admitted to the hospital, the ratio of occurrence to medical response capacity, the utilization rate of hospital beds dedicated to infectious diseases, the utilization rate of living treatment centers and the ratio of home healers, and the ratio of management within the quarantine network. Dog indicators are included.

The number of weekly deaths and new critically ill patients, weekly inpatients and daily average number of confirmed cases, the proportion of confirmed cases over 60 years old, the proportion of vaccinated and non-vaccinated cases among confirmed cases, infection reproduction index, and test positive rate is.

The vaccination index consists of four indicators: the cumulative vaccination completion rate, the vaccination completion rate over 60 years of age, the additional vaccination rate for the elderly and high-risk groups, and the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent infection, severe disease, and death.

Among these, five indicators are 'core indicators', including ▲ intensive care unit bed utilization rate ▲ incidence rate relative to medical response capacity ▲ weekly new critically ill patients ▲ ratio of confirmed cases over 60 years old, and booster vaccination rates for those aged 60 and over and high-risk groups. as a general indicator.

Based on this system, the Central Accident Remediation Headquarters (middle-water version), after consulting the Quarantine and Medical Subcommittee, set the risk of COVID-19 as 'very low', 'low', 'medium', 'high', and 'very low' We plan to evaluate it on five levels, including 'high'.

According to the evaluation cycle, it is divided into a weekly evaluation that monitors one week from Sunday to Saturday of the previous week and a stage evaluation that evaluates the risk of the last 4 weeks.

Separate from the weekly and phased assessments, in situations of high risk of epidemics, a separate 'emergency assessment' is conducted to discuss whether to implement an emergency plan.

Urgent evaluation: ▲ When the intensive care unit utilization rate exceeds 75% ▲ When the weekly risk assessment result is 'high' or 'very high' ▲ When the 4-week stage evaluation result is 'high' or 'very high' ▲ In addition, when the government determines that it is necessary to review the emergency plan based on the expert opinion of the Quarantine and Medical Subcommittee, it is implemented according to four requirements.
