Google Maps is full of new things at the end of the year.
The mapping application thus wants to make life easier for its users and help them in their daily travels.
Four new functions have been incorporated but only the first two will be accessible in France initially, reports

Wednesday.
Identify crowded areas
Users will now be able to avoid crowded neighborhoods.
Google Maps will display high-traffic places in real time using a tool called Area Busyness, as Google explains in its blog.
It may then be possible to know in more detail the crowds by restaurant or shop.
A very useful tool especially during the holiday season.
Another novelty: a function listing the businesses within an airport, a bus station or a large shopping center.
Facilitate shopping
Two other features will be launched, but for the moment they will only be available in the United States.
The first will be a great help for shopping.
It will allow you to order online and see when the order will be ready in store.
The latter will also be notified of the customer's arrival time.
The last function aims to give specific details about restaurants.
Users will be able to communicate the price range of a meal and inform other customers of the services offered by the restaurant.
