Mr. A, who was sentenced to two years and six months in prison in the first trial, filed an appeal saying that the sentence was too heavy, but the second trial court only accepted the prosecution's appeal that the sentence was light.

Mr. A, who worked at a mart in Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, operated by Seosan Fisheries Cooperative Federation, is accused of embezzling about 3.26 billion won a total of 121 times from February 2018 to December 31 last year.

Person A, who was in charge of accounting and taxation at the mart, is known to have intercepted the money by making false titles such as the purchase price for equipment and submitting a payment resolution.

It was investigated that Mr. A spent most of the embezzled money to purchase items from the online game 'Lineage'.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Seosan Fisheries Cooperative members, who suffered a net loss of 1.7 billion won due to Mr. A's crime, returned their salaries and bonuses to compensate for the loss.
