The eldest son of Chong Kun Dang Chairman Lee Jang-han, who was handed over to trial on charges of distributing a video of a woman's body during sexual intercourse without consent, was sentenced to a suspended sentence of imprisonment in the first trial following the appeal.

The Seoul Central District Court's Criminal Case Division 1-3 (Chief Judges Cho Jung-rae, Kim Jae-young, Song Hye-young) conducted the first trial on Lee, who was charged with violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (filming using cameras, etc.) on the 11th. He was also sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation.

In addition, the order to complete 40 hours of sexual violence treatment program, 120 hours of community service, and employment restrictions at child and youth-related organizations and welfare facilities for the disabled for 3 years remained the same as in the first trial.

Lee was charged with distributing videos of body parts filmed while having sex with several women in January and February last year on social media without their consent.

On that day, the court of appeals said, "Even if all conditions are taken into account, the sentence of the lower court does not appear to be outside the reasonable scope of discretion." all rejected.

Earlier, the court of first instance sentenced the prison sentence to be suspended, saying, "The victims' faces are not clearly visible in the filmed video, so it is difficult to identify them."
