Former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, who is being tried on allegations of corruption in children's entrance exams, has applied to the court to return the items that were seized and searched in the past.

Former Minister Cho filed an application for refund of confiscated prices with the Seoul Central District Court last month.

Refundable is a system that returns confiscated items on condition that they are returned if necessary for investigation or to be presented as evidence to the court.

Former Minister Cho's side is known to have previously requested the return of a computer hard disk secured by the prosecution in Cho's Seoul National University professor's office.

Former Minister Cho, along with his wife Jeong Kyung-shim, a former professor of Dongyang University, is being indicted on charges of involvement in the corruption of their children's entrance exams and on charges of negligence of the Blue House Special Inspection Team's inspection of Yoo Jae-soo, former deputy mayor of Busan City's economy.
