A man in his 20s who stabbed and threatened his ex-girlfriend in an entertainment district was arrested after a close two-hour confrontation with the police.
Gyeonggi Buwon Mi Police Station announced today (9th) that they are investigating A (24) on suspicion of attempted murder.
A is suspected of threatening to stab her ex-girlfriend B twice in the back with a knife at an entertainment district in Simgok-dong, Bucheon, around 3 am today.
B was transferred to a nearby hospital by the 119 paramedics who were dispatched after receiving the report, and it is known that there is no life-threatening condition.
Even after B was transferred to the hospital, A was found to have confronted the police for nearly two hours, saying, "I will harm myself."
After persuading Mr. A, the police arrested him as a current criminal at around 4:50 am today, 1 hour and 50 minutes later.
As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that A committed the crime while meeting and talking with B at a nearby bar.
A police official said, "I persuaded A to move the wounded first and sent B to the hospital. there," he said.
