A couple in their 50s who visited their nephew's apartment for two days in a row and knocked on the front door were caught by the police.

The Incheon Samsan Police Station announced today (9th) that they had booked a couple in their 50s without detention on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.

Couple A is accused of knocking on the front door of the house of nephew B, a woman in her 30s, at an apartment in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, around 2 or 3 pm on the 27th of last month.

The day before, they went to the apartment where Mr. B lived and asked, "Please open the door," and it was reported to the police.

Mr. B said to the police, "My aunt and uncle kept coming to get stamps related to rural land and called 112."

On the other hand, Mr. A's wife stated, "I went to my nephew's house to meet my sister, but she did not meet me."

The police arrested Mr and Mrs. A as a current offender when they visited Mr. B's house despite continuous 112 calls, and took emergency measures to prevent them from approaching within 100m of Mr. B's house.

A police official said, "There were two reports of 112 on the 26th and 27th of last month, and the third report was received even though he was informed that he could be punished for stalking at the second report. He was judged and arrested."
