The first snow fell in Seoul a month earlier than last year.



According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), light snow was observed at the Meteorological Observatory in Songwol-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul around 6:10 am on the 10th.




For climatological and statistical consistency, the first snow in Seoul is based on whether snow is observed at the Songwol-dong weather station.




The first snow in Seoul this year was 30 days earlier than last year.



Last year, on December 10th, the first snow fell in Seoul.




Compared to the normal year (November 20), it was ten days earlier.




It snowed lightly not only in Seoul today, but also in the metropolitan area.
