This is the site of an automobile parts manufacturing plant where 60 workers once worked.

It has now turned into a ruin with over 11,000 tons of waste piled up.

The height of the factory alone is about 10 meters, and there are so many illegal wastes that it touches the ceiling.

Also, if you look at the structure inside the factory, it is in a state of being bent like this, unable to withstand the weight of this illegal waste.

The CEO of this company put up the empty factory and land for sale in September last year.

At this time, the waste dumping organization approached it with the so-called 'president of the barge'.

We were supposed to pay 10% of the down payment and pay the balance three months later, but in the meantime, these organizations secretly brought in the waste every late night.

A screen was installed around the factory to avoid the attention of residents.

[Lee Jae-hyun / Damaged owner: Complaints keep coming in, and if it rains, leachate becomes a very problem. As you can see, it smells really bad... .]

These organizations took over a waste disposal company and pretended to be operating it legally, and they dumped the waste they received for money into an empty factory contracted in the name of the general manager.

The amount of waste that these organizations dumped into 11 empty factories across the country alone is 46,000 tons.

It moved in the form of a point organization by dividing various roles such as supply and transport of waste, dumping, and gatekeeper.

Only 64 people, including 10 gangsters, took part.

[Police: I came from the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency Violent Crime Investigation Unit.

An arrest warrant has been issued for violating the Waste Management Act.] The

police have arrested five people, including a gangster in their 50s, and are continuing the investigation into whether 9.2 billion won of the proceeds of the crime were used as funds for the operation of the gang.
