A man in his 30s who beat and killed the late Hwang Ye-jin for notifying those around him of his romantic relationship admitted the charges at the first trial.



The 12th Criminal Settlement Division of the Seoul Western District Court held the first trial of 31-year-old Lee, who was indicted on the 4th, on the 4th.



Prosecutors said, "Lee pushed Hwang over the bed during an argument at the residence of Mr. Hwang, whom he was in a relationship with, on July 24." And I received a strong shock to the head."



He continued, "I pushed Hwang's abdomen and shoulders 10 times, causing his head to hit the glass wall several times."



He also said, "I left Mr. Hwang, who had fallen, and headed to the car, and when Mr. Hwang chased after him again, he was furious and assaulted him with his fist." and said the notice.




The court asked about Mr. Lee's position, saying, "If you look at the statement of opinion, Mr. Lee's side says he is willing to apologize to the victim's family."



Lee's lawyer said, "It is difficult to access the victims' families," he said.



In front of reporters right after the trial, the lawyer said, "It can be seen that he admitted all the charges."



Many people, including Hwang's family, gathered at the trial and wept.



When the lawyer informed Mr. Lee's position, anger erupted in the audience, such as "Are you talking about killing people?"



It is known that Lee made a false report to 119 after assaulting Hwang during an argument at an officetel in Mapo-gu, Seoul on July 25.



Hwang was taken to the hospital, where he was in a coma for about three weeks and eventually died.




Hwang's family insisted that Lee be charged with murder, but the police found it difficult to admit intentionality and turned it over to the prosecution on the charge of injury and homicide, and the prosecution also charged the same.



Lee's next trial will be held on the 18th.
