The High Commissioner's Crime Investigation Office (Public Investigation Office) summoned Kim Woong, a member of the People's Power, who was pointed out as a window in the political circles, as a suspect in the so-called 'indictment fraud' case today (3rd).

Rep. Kim appeared at the government complex in Gwacheon at around 9:45 am today and met with reporters, saying, "There is no substance in the accusation."

Regarding the circumstances of the distribution of the complaint aimed at passport officials, he said, "I don't remember exactly the informant and the circumstances," he said, but he said, "If the sword was given (the complaint to me), why would he say that he would speak well to the sword (in the transcript)? No,” he countered.

Unlike those involved in other incidents who attended in a car to avoid exposure, he received a pass at the customer information center of the Government Complex Gwacheon and walked to the Air Traffic Control Office on foot for about 5 minutes.

Rep. Kim is charged with conspiring with Sohn Jun-seong, an investigative information policy officer at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in April of last year and soliciting charges against passport officials twice (obstructing the exercise of the right to abuse of power and violating the Public Official Election Act).

Following the summons of Son Jun-seong, a human rights protector of the Daegu High Prosecutors' Office yesterday, the Ministry of Airborne Affairs has summoned the key suspects for the second day and is continuing the investigation.

The Ministry of Airborne Affairs is reported to be investigating Rep. Kim with a focus on finding out the facts about various allegations surrounding the so-called 'Kim Woong-Cho Seong-eun' transcript today.

According to the full transcript released by Jo Seong-eun, the first informant, Rep. Kim used the expression 'we' and wrote a complaint letter and made several remarks that seemed to mean the prosecution.

It is known that the Ministry of Air Transport will also ask for the inspectorate with the tag 'Send Jun-seong Son' to the material he delivered to Mr. Cho via Telegram.

Regarding the fact that the name of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol appeared several times in the transcript, it is also expected that the investigation will be conducted as to whether Yoon was involved in or was aware of Kim's delivery of the complaint.

Rep. Kim is expected to be investigated for a long time like a hand prosecutor who returned home late last night, as Rep. Kim is adhering to the position of "I don't remember" in relation to this case.
