On the 3rd, around 3 pm, a fire broke out in a 5-ton cargo truck that was driving in the direction of Seoul from inside the Naegok Tunnel on the Bundang Naegok Interstate Expressway, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes, but traffic in the section has been completely controlled so far, and the nearby road is severely congested.
No casualties were reported as a result of this fire.
The fire department will investigate the exact cause of the fire as soon as the on-site investigation is completed.
