prosecution's additional charges of breach of trust, which are the core allegations of former general manager Yoo Dong-gyu, and the simultaneous request for arrest warrants against private operators is an evaluation that the investigation has been successful. In particular, the intention of leaving the door open to investigations into candidate Lee Jae-myung, who was then mayor of Seongnam, is also read.

Prosecutors put the charge of breach of trust in the warrant when they arrested Yoo Dong-gyu on the 3rd of last month, but dropped the charge of breach of trust when it was handed over to trial on the 21st.

In the meantime, it was considered that the arrest warrant for Kim Man-bae, who was designated as an accomplice in breach of trust, was dismissed.

Afterwards, the prosecution conducted additional investigations, including the Daejil Shimbun, against the four men in Daejang-dong and added the charge of breach of trust today.

It clearly specified the manner in which the city of Seongnam was damaged, and the amount of damage was calculated more specifically.

Prosecutors said the four people in Daejang-dong conspired to reduce the expected land development profits, and Seongnam City suffered a loss of 65.1 billion won.

It was pointed out that Seongnam City could not take the profits from the sale of apartments directly conducted by Hwacheon Daeyu.

Therefore, the prosecution's position is that the total amount of breaches amounts to hundreds of billions of won.

As the prosecution finally decided that the charge of breach of trust could be applied to the Daejang-dong development project, an upper-level investigation by former head Dong-gyu Yoo became inevitable.

This means that there is room to hold candidate Lee Jae-myung, who was the mayor of Seongnam at the time, responsible as the final manager of the Daejang-dong project.

In particular, as the prosecution has shown confidence enough to apply the charge of breach of trust to attorneys Kim Man-bae, Nam-wook, and Jeong Min-yong, the investigation may be rushed depending on the court's judgment.
