These are recent cases of abusive behavior in the military court judgments obtained by SBS reporters.

In Unit A, while on guard duty, a senior soldier pointed a gun at the leg of his successor and said, "Is this gun loaded or not?" and threatened to shoot him.

I moved the bolt back and forth and even pulled the trigger, but the magazine was half-inserted, so no blank bullets actually fired, but the successor had to feel extreme fear.

In Unit B, there is a case of insulting the victim by saying "You are my slave" or "Tell me the master" and hitting them with fists when they do not respond.

When the office of Rep. Kim Byung-gi of the Democratic Party of Korea commissioned a specialized agency to survey 714 military scribes, seven out of ten answered that they had experienced harsh acts.

Many young people who have recently served in the military have responded that they have experienced psychological harassment and profanity.
