A teenager who forced his junior to drink 15 glasses of soju in order to break his habit of lying has been sentenced to a fine.

According to the legal community yesterday (17th), the 5th Criminal Division of the Gwangju District Court (Chief Judge Hwang Hye-min) sentenced a 19-year-old group A, who was indicted without detention on charges of coercion, to a fine of 10 million won.

In addition, if Army A does not pay a fine, it is converted into 100,000 won per day and ordered to work during this period.

Group A threw a bottle of soju on the floor at a karaoke bar in Naju, Jeollanam-do around 4 am on May 9th, threatening his junior, 17-year-old group B.

After that, group A poured soju into a beer mug on the table, held it in front of group B, and forced her to drink, saying, "I'll fix the habit of lying often."

When group B refused to do so, group A threatened "I will hit you with a bottle of soju."

Frightened by this, group B drank 15 glasses of alcohol from group A in succession.

Group A was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 2 years of probation at the court for the crime of special injury two months ago, and it was investigated that he committed such a crime during the probation period.

The court pointed out that "it was a dangerous action that could have resulted in the death of group B if done wrong."

However, the court explained, "We have admitted and are reflecting on the charges of forcing group A to drink alcohol."
