When the arrest warrant for Kim Man-bae, the owner of Hwacheon Daewoo, a key figure in the Daejang-dong development lobbying and favoritism allegations, was dismissed, the prosecution made an official position to review the request for an arrest warrant again.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said, "The dedicated investigation team will closely examine the reasons for the dismissal and decide whether to re-apply in the future."

Prosecutors called Kim on the 11th and investigated him for about 14 hours, and on the 12th, the next day, immediately applied for an arrest warrant for bribery, breach of special law, and embezzlement.

After examining the validity of the warrant against Kim yesterday, the court dismissed the warrant, saying, "While there is a great need to guarantee the right of defense of the suspect, it is difficult to believe that the necessity of arresting the suspect has been sufficiently explained."
