The number of private gatherings will be relaxed from the 18th to a maximum of 8 people in the metropolitan area and a maximum of 10 people in non-metropolitan areas.

Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom announced today (15th) a plan to adjust the quarantine guidelines containing these contents at the meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for Corona 19, which was presided over at the government complex in Seoul.

Prime Minister Kim said, "In the 4th stage area (the metropolitan area), gatherings are allowed for up to 8 people, including 4 people who have completed inoculation, regardless of around 6 pm in the evening. We can allow up to 10 people to have a meeting,” he said.

In addition, he announced that he would apply the relaxed personnel standard, which has been applied only to restaurants and cafes, to all multi-use facilities without discrimination.

Considering that the SAT exam is approaching, the government has decided to allow the operation of facilities such as reading rooms and study cafes in Level 4 areas including the metropolitan area until midnight.

In the case of outdoor sports events that have been held without spectators, only those who have been vaccinated can enter up to 30% of the total capacity.

Although the quarantine measures have been partially eased, the distance itself has been maintained for two weeks from the 18th to the 31st at the same stage as before (4th stage in the metropolitan area, 3rd stage in the non-metropolitan area).
