A gesture of thanks and generosity more expected than welcome.

Apple will pay a bonus to its employees to thank them for the efforts made during the Covid-19 pandemic,

Bloomberg

revealed on

 Wednesday, relayed by

The bonus applies to all employees working in the brand's physical and online stores, as well as AppleCare employees.

They will receive 1,000 dollars (approximately 850 euros), for those hired before March 31.

Rare bonuses at Apple

For people who joined the company after this date, the expected bonus is $ 500 (approximately € 425). Seasonal workers currently hired for the holiday season will receive $ 200. Apple thus wants to thank its employees for the work carried out under the complicated conditions of the pandemic, and to motivate them before the end of the year which promises to be busy with all the new products.

This bonus is all the better received as the American giant is not used to the thing: the last bonus granted to employees dates back to 2018. Many employees had also criticized the company for this lack of consideration, recalls

Bloomberg

.

In addition, Tim Cook recalled on September 17 that all employees will be entitled to three days off for Thanksgiving, like every year.
