The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office assigned to the 1st Public Investigation Division a case in which Seong-eun Jo, a whistleblower of the so-called 'accusation of fraud', sued former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol and Rep.
An official from the prosecution explained, "The case has been assigned to the department that is conducting the related investigation."
The 1st Public Investigation Division is investigating a case in which Choi Kang-wook, president of the Open Democratic Party, and others sued former President Yoon, his spouse Kim Kun-hee, and prosecutor Son Jun-seong for allegations of indictment.
Earlier, on the 23rd, Seong-eun Jo filed a complaint with the prosecution saying that former President Yoon and Rep. Kim spread false information about him through press conferences, defaming his reputation and insulting him.
