A man who tried to set fire at a hospital for refusing to seek medical treatment first was sentenced to prison in the first trial.

According to the legal community on the 21st, the Seoul Eastern District Court's 3rd independent criminal judge (Judge Lee Yoo-young) sentenced Mr.

At about 1:50 pm on June 1, at a hospital in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of attempting to set fire when he was rejected after he asked Nursing Assistant B to treat him first.

At that time, it was investigated that A was swearing at B, saying, "I'm going to blow up the hospital", and then bought 2 liters of thinner at a hardware store and returned to the hospital.

Person A rushed to Mr. B and tried to light it with a lighter saying "I will kill everyone", but was stopped by the police who arrived after receiving a report.

During the trial, Mr. A claimed, "I was only trying to scare you, I didn't really want to start a fire."

However, it turns out that he had a history of being convicted of killing people by setting them on fire in the past.

The court pointed out, "If you look at the history of the accused, he was fully aware of the dangers of thinner.

The court further explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The crime is serious because there is a risk of causing a large number of victims or causing large-scale damage."
