The civic group Gapjil 119, a civic group, disclosed 21 reports of reports received in the past month to the IT Gapjil Reporting Center operated by the 'Committee for the Prevention of Workplace Harassment at the Pangyo IT Business Site'.



The largest number of complaints of harassment were verbal abuse and insults (9 cases), performance pressure (7 cases), and other items such as job exclusion, bullying, and dismissal (5 cases).



Some of the major workplace harassment cases we have disclosed include:



IT industry developer Mr. A said, "It was very difficult because of the head of the department. On this floor, he said that his skills were personality, and if he didn't know what he was asking, he would scream and criticize him."



B, an IT industry employee, said, "The boss said, 'What do you know. It's like X' and swears and swears at the other employees as invisible people." He didn't even do it."



Another employee, C, said, "I was constantly subjected to psychological and physical harassment by the department head. Due to the high work intensity, mental stress such as depression and nervous breakdown was severe, and even tinnitus appeared and received hospital treatment." I informed him that I would give it to him.”



Workplace Gapjil 119 pointed out, "In the past two years, workplaces where employees have made extreme choices have been subject to special labor supervision related to workplace harassment."



He added, "It doesn't make sense to go out as a special labor supervisor only when you die."He urged the government to take special labor supervision in the IT industry.
