Yesterday (21st) evening, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a factory in Jeju Island, and the entire building was destroyed in about an hour. At a restaurant in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, a man in his 40s wielded a knife, killing one person and seriously injuring three others.

A fire broke out at a plastic packaging container factory in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, around 6 pm yesterday evening.



There was no one in the factory because it was a holiday, so fortunately no one was injured.



All packaging containers in the factory were burned by the fire that went out in about an hour and 20 minutes.



Police and fire departments are counting property damage while investigating the exact cause of the fire.

around 7 pm yesterday evening, at a restaurant in Changwon, Gyeongnam, a man in his 40s, Mr. A, wielded a weapon at four people in his group.



A man in his 60s who was present was taken to the hospital, but eventually died, and the remaining three people, including a woman in his 50s, are receiving treatment.



The man who fled immediately after the crime was caught by the police in Busanjin-gu, Busan, about 11 pm, four hours later.



A and the victims are said to be between seniors and juniors in their hometown.



After investigating the exact motive of the crime, the police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for charges such as murder.
