After recruiting drug users through social networking service (SNS), police arrested a large number of gangs and buyers who sold drugs nationwide using express bus delivery, etc.

The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency's Violent Crime Investigation Unit drug crime investigation division announced today (13th) that they arrested 8 people, including A (30s), on suspicion of selling narcotics.

The police also caught 50 people who bought drugs from them and arrested them without detention.

Eight sellers, such as Mr. A, have been operating and posting advertisements for drug sales on SNS since November last year.

They posted on the Internet that they were selling the slang term for cannabis, 'tul,' and they recruited buyers.

They took on the role of members of the organization with contact books and delivery books, contacted customers only by SNS nicknames, and received payments only as virtual assets.

They mainly dealt with cannabis and liquid hemp, but also sold narcotics mainly used in clubs, such as ecstasy, ketamine, and LSD.

The so-called 'throwing' method was used to send drugs to restaurant outdoor units for buyers in the metropolitan area and send them to find them, and deliveries were made to areas outside the metropolitan area using express bus courier.

If it was sent from the express bus terminal in the metropolitan area, it was possible to deliver it in one day, as buyers went straight to the local terminal.

The police said that during the investigation process, they confiscated narcotics worth 130 million won, including 300 ml of liquid cannabis, from sellers such as Mr.

A, etc. made a profit by purchasing drugs in large quantities on the Internet and selling them in small quantities.

The police plan to expand the investigation into the source from which Mr. A and others were supplied with drugs.

Most of the people who bought drugs from Mr. A were young people in their 20s and 30s, including many office workers and students.

Police said, "Most of the buyers seem to have attempted the crime with the erroneous idea that they would not be caught because they trade secretly, out of curiosity that they can easily access drugs through the Internet and that they will not become addicted even after taking one dose."
