Daejeon, where the 4th stage of social distancing was in effect, a card game room that was open until late at night with the door locked was caught.

When the police entered, there were more than 30 people gathered with CCTV and soundproofing devices installed.

Early in the morning, the police and 119 firefighters work hard to open the tightly closed iron door.

All kinds of equipment are mobilized, and in the end, two hours after the police arrived, the door was torn down and entered.

[Responsible Police Officer: Yes.

Entering.] In a

smoke-filled space, 32 people in their 20s and 30s, who did not even wear masks properly, were sitting close to each other and playing a hold'em game, a kind of poker game.

We divided the small space into two rooms and installed a large table, but it was difficult to ventilate, let alone a partition, and part of the windows were covered with plywood to prevent light from leaking out.

The game board was played from 10 pm the night before in a space where the entrance and exit were thoroughly monitored with CCTV and soundproofed inside the door.

It was confirmed that they enjoyed the game for about 7 hours in a space like an ordinary office where there was no signboard on the surface.

At that time, Daejeon was in a situation where gatherings of game halls were completely banned due to the 4th level of social distancing, but they gathered from Seoul, Incheon, and Chungbuk to have a game board.

The police detained 32 people, including 22-year-old Kang Mo and 38-year-old Lee Mo, for violating the Act on the Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases.
