Last weekend, two teenagers were caught by the police while having sex at an apartment playground in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.

The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul arrested a 16-year-old high school student A and a 15-year-old middle school student B who had sex on a playground slide in an apartment complex at around 5:50 pm on the 11th.

A local resident who witnessed them all undressed reported to 112 that "students are having sex on the playground of the apartment."

The police judged it to be an emergency and received a report with 'Code 1' and immediately dispatched them to separate them.

For those who arbitrarily accompanied them to the police box, the police conducted in-depth counseling and then called their parents and took them over.

Considering that they are adolescents with low gender-recognition abilities, counseling was conducted to form the correct sexual values.

A police official explained, "Since they are still young teenagers, we are considering whether to file a case or take action."

However, he said, "We have not yet formally conducted an investigation."

Adults who commit obscene acts that cause shame and disgust to others in public places such as playgrounds are usually charged with performance obscenity and punished.

Imprisonment for not more than one year or a fine of not more than 5 million won, detention or a minor may be imposed.

In principle, Group A and Miss B are not juveniles under the age of 14 who do not have criminal responsibility, so they can be punished according to their crimes.

It will be interesting to see what kind of judgment the police will make in consideration of various circumstances.
