A case in which a woman falsely reported a man sitting in a caring seat for pregnant women on the subway as a molester was reported late.

Police dropped the charges against the man due to insufficient evidence.



On the 10th, on the Facebook page of the Korea Sexual Crimes Counseling Center, an article and a report titled 'A woman falsely reported a woman as a molester because a man with a disability sat in a caring seat for pregnant women' was uploaded. 



According to the report, a man with hypotension and arrhythmia due to a pituitary tumor sat in a caring seat for pregnant women when there were no seats for the disabled and the elderly in the subway line 4 train in April.



At the time, woman B, who was in front of Mr. A, glared at Mr. A, cursed, and said, "This is not a place for you to sit. Normal people don't think about sitting." 



After that, Mr. B moved to the 3rd room of Mr. A and continued insulting remarks such as "I'm annoyed" and "I'm unlucky" so that everyone around him could hear it. 




In the end, Mr. A got up from the pregnant woman's seat, but Mr. B reported him to the police. In order to leave evidence of what Mr. B is reporting, Mr. A covered the camera lens and recorded only his voice. 



Then, Mr. B told the police, "I'm even doing voyeurism here." Mr. B also stated, "Mr. A swears and harassed me for 1 to 2 seconds while pulling the coat next to the forearm."  



However, eyewitnesses testified that there was no abusive language or molestation by Mr. Even in the CCTV video of the subway platform, the scene where A was in physical contact with B was not confirmed.



Accordingly, the police dismissed the charges against Mr. A due to insufficient evidence and made a decision not to appeal. 



According to the police, Mr. B is known to have falsely reported Mr. A, saying that there is a man behind him and secretly filming.
