Jung Eun-kyung, director of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, discussed vaccination plans for children and adolescents in a video conference yesterday with Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Yoo Eun-hye.



The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) recommends that children and adolescents be included in the list of subjects to be vaccinated. Therefore, the KCDC will prepare and announce in detail the actual subject of vaccination, the time of implementation, the vaccine used, the institution of inoculation, and the method of inoculation.



Among the teenage age group, the third year of high school received the Pfizer vaccine in line with the college scholastic ability test schedule, and now 18-19 years old are included in the under 40s group and are receiving the first dose.
