It is a university hospital in Incheon.

A man in his 50s who was hospitalized in the rehabilitation ward in the cancer center building of this hospital was confirmed on the 11th.

A test performed to be transferred to a nursing hospital came out positive.

The hospital inspected all 1,300 people who visited the building, and so far, 28 people including 12 patients, guardians, and caregivers have been infected.

[Incheon City Official: One (confirmed) caregiver showed the earliest symptoms. It started here, so I'm guessing (that's how).]

Another hospital in Incheon has also infected 34 people in the process of preemptive testing, and a university hospital in Seoul has also infected 13 people so far.

The proportion of confirmed cases in the metropolitan area increased to 78.1% after continuing at 74% for three days.

In the past six weeks, the weekly number of confirmed cases per 100,000 population has also been stagnant overall, but the increase is clear in the metropolitan area.

The quarantine authorities explain that even if 70% of the population is vaccinated before Chuseok, it is difficult to expect a decrease in the number of confirmed cases based on the vaccination rate alone.

[Park Young-joon / Head of Epidemiological Investigation Team, Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters: Since 30% of the entire population remains unvaccinated, efforts to reduce the amount of movement are (necessary) Because it can be (management is necessary)] The

quarantine authorities also announced that they would announce the vaccination plan for the fourth quarter, including the period of vaccination for adolescents aged 12 to 17, within this month.
