A YouTuber has sparked controversy by releasing a video that uses illegal filming as a humor material.

On the 4th, on the YouTube channel 'CRAZY GREAPA', a short video titled '15 Second Sad Movie Judge, I am unfair' was uploaded.

In the video, a man ran into a passerby and nearly lost his cell phone, but managed to pick it up.

But his cell phone camera was pointed inside the skirt of the woman in front of him.

The man looked embarrassed and the woman looked at the man with an angry face.

The video ends with a picture suggesting a prison.

This video quickly spread through the online community, recording about 1.5 million views as of 5pm today (9th).

Some viewers who saw the video raised the issue, saying, "Recently, we have caricatured illegal filming, which is a serious social problem."

One netizen expressed displeasure, saying, "There are so many women whose lives have been ruined by illegal filming, so I can see how ignorant and disinterested in women's human rights is that they consume it with humor."

The YouTuber who posted the video then pinned the comment to the top and responded, "I understand that women's rights are important, but don't over-immerse yourself in the video you made without much thought."

He continued, "Because I care about every inconvenience, TV broadcasts become no fun." He added, "This is not a broadcasting station, but a personal YouTube channel, so go watch TV entertainment."

In response to the YouTuber's rebuttal, one netizen pointed out, "You are free to think whatever you think, but you are influencing people in some way by uploading this video on a platform where people can share it."

In addition, criticizing comments such as "I don't think it's humorous to be used for real crimes", "It's not fun, it's ignorant, and outdated content" followed.

This is not the first time that a video using illegal filming as a humor material has been controversial.

Last year, LG Electronics Poland incorporated an advertisement promoting the dual-screen function of a smartphone where an old man secretly filmed the back of a woman climbing the stairs.

After criticism for lowering awareness of illegal filming, LG Electronics deleted the video.

This is a 'news pick'.
