The police were caught trying to smuggle drugs made in the Philippines through international airmail by hiding them in electrical sockets.



These organizations, including the general manager of the operation, are suspected of smuggling 6.2 kg of methamphetamine, which can be administered to 200,000 people at the same time, as well as a large amount of drugs manufactured abroad, such as ketamine, hemp, and ecstasy, into Korea.



That's a whopping 21.9 billion won.



The police arrested 18 people, including General A, 14 members of the organization, including salespeople, and 4 habitual drug users, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.



In addition, 33 people, including drug users, were booked without detention.



Among the drug offenders arrested, those in their twenties and first-time offenders accounted for the most, accounting for about half, including teenagers.
