Starting today (6th), the application process for the national subsidy, in which 250,000 won is paid per person to the bottom 88% of income earners, started, and those excluded from the payment were outraged.

A woman in her 30s, who lives in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, could not hide her embarrassment when she was informed that she was not eligible for the subsidy through the 'national secretary' notification service today.

This is because she did not know that her own health insurance premiums did not meet the standard for single-earned income, but the combined amount would exceed the payment standard if her husband's health insurance premiums were added.

On this day, the first day of inquiry and application for the national subsidy, such complaints and dissatisfaction were expressed mainly through the social networking service (SNS).

Most of the responses were that it was difficult to understand the criteria for receiving the national subsidy or that they could not be in the top 12% economically.

If you want to know exactly whether you can receive the national subsidy, you need to check the health insurance premium in June.

The national subsidy is paid to households in the bottom 80% of income bracket based on the health insurance premium for June.

However, preferential standards were applied to single-person households and dual-income households, so that 88% of the total population received it.

This is in accordance with the point that single-person households have a large number of elderly and economically inactive populations, and that essential expenses such as childcare expenses for dual-income families may be high.

According to the final standard that reflects this, for single-person households, both employer and local subscribers are eligible to receive insurance premiums of 170,000 won or less in June.

The insurance premium of 170,000 won is equivalent to 58 million won in annual income based on the employee at work.

Health insurance premiums The standard for single-income households with work-insured members is 200,000 won for a two-person household, 250,000 won for a three-person household, and 310,000 won for a four-person household.

The standard for local health insurance premiums is 210,000 won for two people, 280,000 won for three people, and 350,000 won for four people for a single-income household.

A dual-income household with two or more income sources in the household is considered to have one more member and the standard table is applied.

Accordingly, employees who work in a four-person household are eligible for payment of 390,000 won, and local subscribers are eligible for payment of 430,000 won or less.

On the other hand, when calculating health insurance premiums, financial income is included in addition to annual salary, so if you have income other than annual salary, you may not be able to receive the national subsidy.

Even if these criteria are met, if a household member's total property tax base for last year exceeds 900 million won or last year's total financial income exceeds 20 million won, they are classified as high-wealth and excluded from support.

Household members should also be looked at.

As of June 30, the members of the household, the unit of selection for recipients of payment, are those who are also registered on the resident registration card for each household.

Even if the address is different, the dependent spouse and children are regarded as the same household under the Health Insurance Act.

The national subsidy is basically for citizens residing in Korea, but overseas citizens who are registered on the resident registration card and have health insurance qualifications can also receive it.

If you have any objection to the result of the selection of recipients for payment, you can raise an objection, and objections are accepted from today on the online National Newspaper or at the Eup, Myeon-dong Community Service Center.

In the first week of appeal, both online and offline, the day system is applied.

The deadline for application is November 12, two weeks after the deadline for applying for the national subsidy (October 29).
