Singer U-Know Yunho, who was caught at an entertainment bar over the business limit, avoided criminal punishment, but was fined for negligence.
According to the legal community today (2nd), the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Detective Division 2 (Prosecutor Park Hyun-cheol) asked the Gangnam-gu Office to impose fines on 12 people, including U-Know Yunho, the business owner, employees, and customers yesterday.
Yunho U-Know continued to sit until midnight at an unlicensed entertainment pub in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, on February 25, violating the time limit order.
Prosecutors did not impose a separate criminal action on Yunho U-Know, as violations of the time limit order issued by the mayor of Seoul at the time were subject to fines rather than criminal punishment.
However, the president of the establishment that operated an unlicensed entertainment pub was prosecuted without detention on charges of violating the Food Sanitation Act in addition to the request to impose a fine for negligence, and a total of five employees, including employees and entertainment service personnel, were briefly indicted with fines for violating the same law.
