As the spread of Corona 19 in Korea continues, the number of new confirmed cases today (2nd) recorded the mid-1900s.

The Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters (Bangdaebon) announced that as of 00:00 today, there were 1,961 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 255,401.

There were 64 fewer people than yesterday (2,025 people), but it was still close to 2,000.

This is 79 more than the 1,882 people on Thursday (August 26) a week ago.

If you look at the route of infection of the new confirmed cases today, 1,927 cases were local and 34 were imported.

The 4th pandemic, which started in earnest in early July, has continued for nearly two months, increasing the spread across the country.

Moreover, the 'delta-type' mutation from India, which is more than twice as powerful as the existing virus, is spreading throughout the country, and the Chuseok holiday, when a large-scale movement is expected, is ahead.

The number of confirmed cases per day has been in the four digits for 58 days in a row since July 7 (1,211 people).

From the 27th of last month to today, 1,838 → 1,791 → 1,619 → 1,486 → 1,371 → 2,025 → 1,961 people by day. At least 1,300 people came out every day, and at most around 2,000 people came and went.
