A teenage brother accused of murdering the grandmother who raised him for nearly 10 years appeared in court today (31st) for a substantive examination of the warrant.

Lee (18, 3 years of high school) and younger brother (16), who appeared in the Western Branch of the Daegu District Court today, did not answer any questions from the reporters.

When the older brother, Lee, was asked, "Do you have anything to say to Grandma?", he only sighed while wearing a mask.

Brother Lee entered the courtroom through the less exposed side door rather than the main entrance to the courtroom.

The public defender of the suspect's brother explained whether his brother was involved in the crime in relation to the crime process.

A public defender said, "Rather than planned, it should be seen that they agreed to each other by accident right before the crime."

He also said, "My brother has an emotional and behavioral disorder and has no concept of the current situation, but he seems to know that he has done something big."

It is known that the decision on whether Lee's military brother will be arrested or not will be decided later this afternoon.

The brother was arrested around midnight on the 30th at his home in Bisan-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu on charges of wielding a knife dozens of times at his grandmother (in his 70s).

I have been with grandparents since 2012, and both of my grandparents had physical disabilities.

The incident was reported by my grandfather, who was in the house with me.
