This was reported in the account of the state corporation on Twitter.

“There is a separation of the third batch of OneWeb satellites from the Russian upper stage Fregat,” the publication says.

On August 21, a state commission authorized refueling of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket ahead of the launch of OneWeb communications satellites.

On Saturday, August 22, the domestic Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with 34 British OneWeb satellites on board launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome.

Separation of satellites should take place in several stages.

The Soyuz launch was postponed twice. The first time was on August 19, due to a malfunction of the Russian equipment of the launch complex. The second time was on August 20, when OneWeb asked to postpone the launch due to a malfunction in the software of the satellite ground control complex.
