A missing elderly person with dementia was found after seven hours by a drone search by the fire department.
The Taean Fire Department said it found an elderly man in his 60s who went missing at a nursing home within 7 hours.
Today (20th) around 3 am, a report was received that a man in his 60s suffering from dementia went missing at a nursing home in Sakseon-ri, Taean-eup, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.
Police and fire authorities have started using drones to search 300 meters around the nursing home.
A police search team found an elderly man while walking on foot seven hours after reporting the disappearance.
The missing man in his 60s was confirmed to be in good health at the time of discovery.
