One tries to come to terms with the fact that the summer vacation is about to end or, as in our case, is already over.

With every kilometer of the return journey, the mental distance to the gloom of everyday life shrank.

You come home and what is it all about?

Climate, fires, inflation, vaccination and global warming.

Just a beach bar and a timidly enjoyed ease, now everything is back.

Claus Kleber, the bad conscience and the Taliban.

And, as if all of this wasn't bad enough, Weselsky too.

Many of you may also feel that your e-mail inbox has to be tidied up after your vacation.

As always, it was full in the weeks of absence, making it more difficult that it has recently been filled with an increasing amount of linguistic impertinence.

The ecological transport club VCD, for example, believes it has to demand "to raise the issue of senior mobility to the political agenda" and to better protect "pedestrians and cyclists".

The best thing about such messages: One click is enough, and already deleted.
