Yesterday (15th) evening at an amusement park in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, the lift in operation suddenly stopped. Fire officials used ropes and ladder trucks to rescue 24 passengers.

At around 6:20 pm yesterday evening at an amusement park in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, the lift carrying 20 passengers stopped while operating.



The lift is 25 meters above the ground, and the fire department rescued all passengers in about 1 hour and 10 minutes using ladder trucks and ropes.

Yesterday evening around

6:17

pm, a fire broke out on the 7th floor of a 15-story apartment in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, and it went out in 20 minutes.



The fire killed a woman in her 80s who lived on the 7th floor, and 18 residents of the apartment were evacuated.



Police and fire officials believe the fire started in the living room on the 7th floor and are investigating the cause of the fire.

At the same time, an electric passenger car running in the direction of Jinan on the Tongyeong-Daejeon Expressway in Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do caught fire.



Three family members in the vehicle were evacuated and no one was injured, but property damage estimated at 7 million won was caused by the firefighting.
