“During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for Russian-Tunisian cooperation in the field of manned space flights, in particular, the intentions of the Tunisian side to train and launch a woman-cosmonaut into space,” the statement said.

The state corporation added that "the result of the meeting was the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation in the field of manned space flights."

On August 12, Roscosmos hosted a working meeting between Rogozin and President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhod Rakhimi.
