A man entered a bar in the Belle-de-Mai district last night in Marseille and fired, killing one person.
Another was then seriously injured by attackers on scooters a few meters away.
The judicial police were in charge of the investigation.

At around 3:15 am, a man entered a bar in the Belle-de-Mai district, near the city center, "a priori armed", and fired on a person, said a judicial source.
This person then died from his injuries, according to the marine firefighters.

7.62mm and 9mm caliber cartridge cases were found on the ground. The shooter arrived on a scooter accompanied by a passenger, said this judicial source.
